Gilded bronze sculpture depicting the oriental deity Avalokiteśvara (he who looks with a steady eye), seated on a double-layered base of lotus flowers. The two main hands are joined on the chest in manidharamudra, while the secondary hands hold a lotus flower, symbol of purity, and a mala. On the head is a five-pointed headdress.
