Terracotta sculpture depicting the Blessed Virgin Mary wearing cloth robes, glass bead accessories, and a contemporary metal crown. The base is made of papier-mâché and gilded and marbled wood, still in the 18th-century style. Southern Italy, 19th century. The statue is crowned with a wreath of roses, made of paper and papier-mâché with a skeleton (not visible), probably made of wire, also contemporary. It is in good condition. The phalanges of the thumb on the right hand and the index and middle fingers on the left are missing.
