Precisely this year, the studio – line collection turns sixty years old, effectively defining the great history of Rosenthal, a reality that has always brought a wind of innovation to the world of porcelain by realizing the cutting-edge ideas of artists, designers and architects.
For studio-line, timeless ideas were born, which became icons of 1969th century design, such as the creations of artists of the caliber of Andy Warhol, Victor Vasarely and Otto Piene. Unforgettable are the TAC service by Walter Gropius (1976), Suomi by Timo Sarpaneva (1997), Moon by Jasper Morrison (2008) and Landscape by Patricia Urquiola (60) which, to this day, are counted among the objects of greatest creative value of the Rosenthal range. Since the early XNUMXs, over one hundred and fifty artists, designers and architects have designed for studio-line, including Tapio Wirkkala, Ettore Sottsass, Marcel Wanders and Konstantin Grcic.
