We present this refined antique Italian coffee table dating back to the early 19th century. It features the stylistic and construction characteristics typical of the Biedermeier period. Crafted from fine walnut, this table is very simple and linear, free of excessive ornamentation. Its design is characterized by rigid yet elegant lines, with a rectangular top with rounded corners that can be extended thanks to a central opening. The top is supported by a sturdy central baluster column with fluted and carved elements. The cross-shaped base rests on four arched legs that end in finely carved wooden lion's paw feet. Functionally, it features a practical drawer. The beautiful walnut grain creates a distinctive visual accent. Thanks to its compact size and simple yet refined lines, this antique coffee table fits perfectly in any setting: as a decorative element in an entryway, as a side table in a living room, or as a perfect tea or game table. It is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with its age. Consider adding this coffee table to your home right away. If you love antique Italian furniture, this table is a must-have for your home. Please note that the tabletop extends up to 130 cm, but the center shelf is missing. We can make this upon request, but please specify before purchasing. The extended table measures 130 cm x 112 cm.
