Antique Napoleon III coffee table in fine exotic woods dating back to the early 20th century.
The circular top features a central inlay with a floral motif and rests on a band below the top which incorporates a drawer that can be pulled out with a gilded bronze handle.
The top has a felt underside and can be lifted to reveal a chessboard.
The feet are typical of the period, that is, an inverted obelisk and end with bronze shoes.
