Landscape painter born in Naples, lively colourist, he reflects the southern character in his painting, treats the figure and the landscape with equal interest, conceives large compositions with sure and broad vision, has exhibited at the Biennials of Rome, Venice, the Promoter of Naples, the Promotrice of Turin, the Nazionale of Milan 1916 and at the Primaverile of Florence in 1922.
He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, he approached the artists of the Neapolitan Secession in 1923, in particular Francesco Galante and Gennaro Villani, his painting is versatile and ranges between the various pictorial moments, we find him a few years later close to the Gruppo Novecento.
