The clock features a circular dial with Roman numerals surrounded by festoons with cherubs.
The upper part is surmounted by a gilded bronze sculpture depicting birds with branches.
The central body in blue Sevres porcelain is highlighted by finely chased gilded bronze lion heads.
The candelabra recall the amphora shape of the clock and feature gallant scenes in the centre and end with a stump with four wax lights.
