Born in Ponte San Petro and trained as an artist at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, Vanni Rossi began to devote himself to frescoes in 1922, working in numerous Lombard churches. He also explored oil painting. In 1926, he exhibited his works in his first solo exhibition at the Pinacoteca di Brera, the first of many. From 1921 to 1945, he devoted himself to creating 125 panels inspired by the Bible, illustrating the Old Testament. In addition to religious subjects, his work also included landscapes and views. The work is presented in a frame.
