A refined example of Italian artisan genius from the first half of the 900th century, following the embargo imposed on Italy during the years of the colonial wars, raw materials such as silver were difficult to find, however the demand for decorative objects with clean art deco lines was high, the possibility of electroplating glass in silver gave life to a series of objects such as this example, a small jewel.
