160x120 H75cm. +3 original 50cm extensions
Antique French Empire style table in mahogany feather with inserts of gilded bronze elements.
The oval-shaped top rests on an under-top band in mahogany feather which in turn is supported by four columns with a base and capital in finely chiseled gilded bronze.
The four feet are connected by a mixed-line crosspiece and rest on the ground via four solid mahogany bearings.
The table is easily extendable via a tear-off mechanism which allows it to accommodate three 50cm extensions.
The elongated part is stably supported by feet that protrude like a compass from under the table which make it perfectly stable and solid.
PS: Possibility of having the sideboard combined with the table.
Provenance: France, early 20th century.
