Antique French Napoleon III desk in mahogany feather and thuja root with finely chiseled gilded bronze elements.
The front elevation is characterized by five drawers highlighted by light fillets with thuja briar in the center and are embellished with gilded bronze vents.
The four corners are enhanced by the presence of bronze profiles with elements also in gilded bronze with a floral motif inside.
The four obelisk-shaped feet covered in briar end with finely chiseled gilded bronze socks.
The opposite face appears to be a mirror image of the main one.
The top features a leather covering engraved with 24kt gold
Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method.
