Late Renaissance High Venetian box

Late Renaissance Upper Veneto chest made of stone pine and maple, Italy, early 17th century. Top with sheet metal handle, front with serrated perimeter frame and carvings with phytomorphic and floral motifs, central herringbone fret, all on a chiselled background. Top, back and bottom in stone pine, front parts in maple. Lock replaced.
