“Panera” an ancient piece of furniture that was used to contain flour and bread dough (hence the name Panera).
Rustic panera in larch wood from the early 900s with stirrup feet.
The sideboard is covered by a rectangular board that acts as a cutting board (tulér) and a lid. The shelf can be opened and the front can be folded on itself. The lower drawers were used to hold bread or cooking utensils.
The piece of furniture is in good condition, disinfection from woodworms has been carried out and it has been restored.
