Ancient Flemish painting from the first half of the 1577th century. Oil on canvas work, first canvas, depicting a portrait of Rubens with an amazing contemporary wooden frame, carved and gilded. Octagonal-shaped painting, of nice size and pleasant decor, ideal for placing in a living room or study. Finely painted work, excellent quality nineteenth-century copy of the famous self-portrait by Pieter Paul Rubens (1640-73). High quality, structurally sound frame, with a small lack of wooden decoration (curl at bottom right, see photo). Work that is part of a pendant (see photo and request the bulk price if available).
