L’abilità dell’intagliatore ha consentito che l’incisione mettesse in risalto le foglie dalla peculiare tonalità ambrata rispetto al corpo principale del lava pennelli che ha una piacevole colorazione opalina. Un piccolo restauro a seguito di una rottura non pregiudica la piacevolezza di questo oggetto.
