Hand-carved wooden Tibetan altar. The front is decorated with two central panels carved with plaster and tempera applications with representations of snow lions (classic figure of the iconography and official emblem of the Dalai Lama), clouds, mountains and flowers, and lacquered. On the sides, the panels are decorated with dragons and snow lions surrounded by rounded clouds and snow-capped mountains.
The altar has a long drawer that opens on one side; the reverse and sides are devoid of decorations.
