Pair of antique polychrome porcelain lamps made in the style of Jacob Petit.
Both sculptures represent characters inspired by imperial Chinese culture and wear very elaborate robes with detailed decorations including an embroidered dragon, a symbol of power and prestige in Chinese culture.
Both figures hold a lamp holder intended to support a lampshade made entirely of fabric.
Condition: Perfectly working.
Provenance: 19th century France
