end of the 500th century
The piece of furniture we are offering is a splendid example of a double-body sideboard entirely in walnut from the second half of the 500th century of Florentine culture and scope.
The piece of furniture is characterized by a fine play of moldings that punctuate a sober but complex architectural structure of great elegance and modest size.
The 4 doors are framed by various orders of carving and include Greek crosses with a central flat base, typical in XNUMXth century furnishings. We find them vertically developed on the pilasters.
The sides feature the same framed moldings, but are left plain.
The fret is also very beautiful, placed below the upper hat and following its perimeter.
The patina of this piece of furniture has been exceptionally preserved, as is the structure.
The piece of furniture therefore does not require restoration work.
We attach a certificate to the sale guaranteeing the age and authenticity of this important piece of furniture.
