Spartaco Cadioli
Library of the Mondrian program by Spartaco Cadioli.
Spartaco Cadioli (1925 – 2016) was an eclectic character. He designed some of the most interesting buildings of the 60s in Cremona.
He has ventured into design with custom-made furnishings for private residences and public spaces, in industrial design with the Mondrian program, a modular system of open and closed cabinets of various sizes and depths that anticipates the modular systems of the 80s and 90s of Vico Magistretti, Flexform and Poliform and many others.
The furniture from the Mondrian program is characterized by the total absence of screws.
The elements of the composition were numbered in sequence and joined together with an intelligent and efficient system of joints.
