Three vases and a box in cinnabar lacquer, China 1950

We offer an interesting set, consisting of three vases and a rare cylindrical box, in cinnabar lacquer finely carved with floral motifs, traditional Chinese animal figures and landscapes. The support was made of brass and subsequently enamelled in vitreous material of an intense blue colour.

As noted in the penultimate photo, there is a small lack of lacquer in a single vase
