French Charles X chest of drawers in fine exotic wood with white statuary marble top.
The main façade is characterized by three large drawers and a smaller one under the top used as a desk.
The desk opens with a flap and is lined internally with leather while at the front it has a larger drawer and four smaller ones.
The three drawers below are embellished with vegetal motif inlays and racemes enclosed within maple threads.
The rectilinear base connects two feet with a particular shape typical of the Charles X style.
Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method.
Provenance: 19th century France.
