Ars Antiqua Srl
- Via C.Pisacane, 55, Milan, Milan, Italy
Ars Antiqua opened in 2000 following the initiative of Federico and Francesco Bulgarini. The gallery stands out for its desire to give primary importance to the study of works of art - sculptures, furniture and paintings - making a selection based on artistic specificity and historical contextualization. Every year there are numerous presences in the main national and international antiques fairs: Gotha (Parma), Amart (Milan), Modenantiquaria (Modena), Ifa (Bergamo), Mercanteinfiera (Parma), Assisi Antiquariato (Assisi), Cortonantiquaria (Cortona ), Olympia International Art & Antiques fair (London). Beyond the traditional gallery, Ars Antiqua has successfully inaugurated a live Sunday television broadcast, in which not only the sale of works of art takes place, but sector experts, art historians, museum directors and Italian cultural associations present rediscovered masterpieces and ongoing events. The gallery therefore also aims to pursue a cultural purpose, promoting artistic knowledge through exhibitions in public spaces, organized visits to ongoing exhibitions (in collaboration with Akropolis), conferences and meetings with institutions and academies. Among the most significant collaborations are the Gallerie d'Italia (Milan), the Gottfried Matthaes Museum of Art and Science (Milan), the Amedeo Lia Museum (La Spezia), Villa Necchi Campiglio (Milan), the Carrara Academy ( Bergamo) and Palazzo Martinengo (Brescia).
