Group composed of a high chair and four chairs in carved, lacquered and partially gilded walnut, Lombardy first quarter of the 18th century. The armrests and under the armrests of the high chair are wavy, the legs and front crossbar feature the typical spirals of intertwined acanthus leaves inspired by Fantoni, and feet carved in a curl. Backrests and seats padded and covered in finely embossed leather with partially gilded decorative motifs. Small defects in the carving; Deficiencies in the gilding and lacquering. A group of similar seats are included in the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts, at the Castello Sforzesco museum complex in Milan.
