Bureau in solid walnut with wavy sides and a sinuous line with a pyramidal structure. Parma, Louis XV era and style (mid-700th century). The best Parma craftsmanship of the period in question, under French influence, manages to obtain remarkably suggestive formal effects even when the decoration is limited to the essentials. The flap in question has domed, slightly rounded sides. Both the front and the sides are refined by small frames and mixed-line "cartouces" engraved with a gouge on the solid walnut, typical ornamentations of the best Parma cabinet-making of the mid-XNUMXth century, influenced by the fashions of neighboring regions, such as Piedmont, and already updated on the latest news spread from France, thanks to the court of Duchess Maria Luigia, daughter of King Louis XV. The piece of furniture, of pleasant and contained proportions, is supported by high supports "en cabriole". The interior of the drawers and the back panel are assembled in poplar wood. Original handles, locks and key from the same period as the bureau. Good state of conservation. The anti-woodworm treatment carried out in the gas chamber has already been carried out.
Certification of guarantee and lawful origin of the furniture is issued in accordance with the law.
