20th century Italian terracotta. Stamped and numbered object (see photo) by Manifattura di Signa depicting the Musician Angel. Subject that harks back to the famous angels painted by Melozzo da Forlì in the 14th century. Glazed, gilded and painted terracotta of excellent quality, stamped on the back and numbered on the left side (see photo). Object for antique dealers, interior designers and collectors of Signa lands, beautifully sized and pleasantly furnished. In beautiful patina, without breaks or signs of restoration, it has small drops of color on the front which give even more charm to the object. In good condition and complete with hanger (coated wire) at the top (see photo) for immediate hanging.
