Italian painting dated August 1931. Oil on canvas depicting a portrait of a woman with a bright dress typical of the 20s/30s. Painting adorned with a sumptuous and elegant wooden frame, finely carved and gilded. Work meticulously painted down to the smallest details, of great impact and charm. Painting signed and dated top left (see photo) referable to the famous painter Angelo Garino (1860-1945), lacking authentication. On the original frame we find a difficult to read dedication which should identify the lady with the name of Angela Sogno, niece of the painter Garino. Work that is part of a wife/husband pendant (see photo and ask for the price of the pair, if available). In good condition. Painting light H 63 x W 53 cm.
