The '60s are characterized by the revolutionary spirit that pervades every social and creative sphere. Very strong and fluorescent colors invade homes with furnishing elements psychedelics and “eccentric” becomes the watchword.
Design is influenced by great artistic personalities such as Andy Warhol and Pop-Art is a clear example of the characteristics of this decade. Lastly, the space style of the Space Age gives a further boost of eccentricism with metallic and reflective surfaces, modular furnishings with an ultra-modern style.
