Finely chiselled gilded bronze Empire clock from the early 19th century.
The vase shape is typical of the period it belongs to and has a large porcelain dial surrounded by elements in relief.
On the side it carries two handles depicting heads of mythological figures.
The base is quadrangular in front and rests on circular cushion feet.
The dial is made of porcelain and bears Roman numerals with a signature “GOEMANS A ORLEANS” in the center.
