Alabaster sculptural group depicting a couple of beggar children belonging to the second half of the 19th century.

The work is of great value and of great sculptural quality as the artist manages to capture the drama of the act and stop it at the most touching moment.

The woman is represented at the moment in which she holds out her hand while her little brother remains crouched on her legs.

The care and precision of the details, the finesse of the face, of the clothes are of the highest quality.
