We could define the chest as the forerunner of the modern wardrobe, or as a large piece of furniture suitable for storing tools, clothes and various objects. Our example is of extraordinary executive skill, entirely sculpted and carved in walnut wood, animated by a vast ornamental sample typical of the morphological/stylistic lexicon of the time.
The imposing mass of the chest takes on a markedly sculptural connotation in correspondence with the four corner pieces masterfully sculpted in volutes with human endings and in the four feral feet that raise it above the ground.
In the middle there is a noble coat of arms (framed by winged female figures and crowned by a cherub's face) which aims to symmetrically divide the chest's façade into two panels, each of which contains a refined bas-relief of plant racemes. The sides, on the other hand, are outlined by smooth mirrors aimed at enhancing the beautiful grains of the wood used.
The rest is an ornamental blaze underlined by current theories of ovoli, claws and other very fine carvings.
In accordance with the law we issue a certificate of authenticity.
The transport is professionally carried out according to the required standards.
