A two-drawer chest of drawers, entirely lacquered and painted to simulate burl wood, with a herringbone grain pattern on the front and sides. The top features a central diamond motif within a frame, rendered using the same painting technique. Dark-colored borders punctuate the edges of the top, drawers, and sides, giving the piece a neat, neoclassical appearance. Original gilded bronze handles and escutcheons. Tapered, square-section legs.

Condition report: Good overall condition. There are signs of use and small gaps in the paint layer, consistent with the piece's age.
