This is Antonio Cappello, of the San Polo branch, probably born in 1494, who held demanding roles for the Republic until the end of his life (1565), including that of prosecutor in 1525. The painting comes from a Milanese auction in the 60s and already attributed to Tintoretto. The painting was analyzed:
